Breathing Techniques for Healthy Lungs Program

З

For all life forms, breathing is a vital process without which neither
a living being could not survive. All life flows from the first
breath at birth to the last breath at death. Breathing happens before
all the time, but no one realizes it.
In the same way, the heartbeat is the other process that takes place
continuously from the time in the womb to seven, eight, or nine decades later, when the heart stops and life ends.
Doctors point to cardiac and respiratory arrest as
cause most cases of natural death, which shows that both
both the heart and the breath are responsible for sustaining human life.

Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati says:

You breathe 21,600 times in 24 hours, but you don’t know it. Most people
they breathe but do not know they are breathing. This is the connection of man with his life
principle, this is ignorance. If the breath stops for 3 minutes, you will leave,
end. Breathing is such an important life process and it is so close to you,
you can even touch it, and yet you do not know it. It’s the breath
the most essential element in life.

The heart and lungs are the two most important organs in the human body, however
also the most neglected, which we treat with carelessness while
health did not deteriorate seriously.

The yogic tradition has always emphasized the importance of caring for whites
lungs and heart for a healthy and strong body that can withstand the attack of
stress and disease, increase endurance, vitality, immunity
and achieve maximum health.

Yogis have realized that the breath is the reservoir and the carrier of prana shakti,
the life force that, once captured, channeled and directed, could
change and improve the activity of the cardiovascular, cerebral and nervous
system, as well as the pranic field of life.
